...a thousand laughs.
I wish I could get this picture larger and cripser, but I swiped it from Facebook from a tag from my niece, Nicole.
This is Livvy in her flower-girl debut at my niece Bridgette's wedding in July. She was hanging with the big girls in the wedding party in a back room before the wedding ceremony.
Okay...did it jump out at you like it did at me? That picture of dear Mother Teresa in the background? Yep, that's the one. Now you can't stop looking at it, can you? Almost kind of looks like Liv's posed next to it on purpose. Like she's a Mother Teresa wanna-be. A protege of sorts. A fan of the Mother Teresa Facebook page. I can see it now....Liv in a purple T-shirt that says "Mother T Rocks" with a peace sign. You can nearly see the little halo forming above her head. The white light flowing forth from her white dress. The sweet smile casting joy and comfort to the spirit of those who are present.
If you don't know the heart and soul of my Livvy, you may not get the laugh. But for those of you who know, for those of you who have witnessed the heart of Liv, isn't it funny? Don't cha think? Because under that sweet little smile and serene pose is a soul of fire and zest and drama and spirit and love that would probably knock the Holy Mother right off of her feet. Or...perhaps she was a bit of a Sass-a-frass lass herself...who knows. Maybe in her youth, she was prone to a dramatic pose or two...or three. Maybe her sense of injustice in the world started with being denied a cartoon. And maybe her need to spread love started with the need to be snuggled up close at night...at all costs.
But whatever the case, I think the world needs some Mother T's and some Livvy's...spreading joy in their own special and unique way.
Love you, Liv. Can't wait to see where your journey leads.
