I admit it...

I am a junkie. A full-fledged American Idol junkie. I voted several (yes, several) times last night. I watched nearly every episode this season. I got mildly (okay, okay....moderately to severely) irritated with the DVR malfunctioned and failed to record Idol Gives Back. I picked my favorites and saw them through to the very end. I downloaded their songs from ITunes. I was as excited as anyone to see America finally get it right--a David -David final. Two people that were both really, really likeable and really, really talented. I love them both as amazing musicians....

....but the best one won! The most original artist. The most gutsy musician. Go David Cook!!

And though it is sad to see the season end, it is a good good-bye, my dear Idol. The plants need watering. The house needs perking up. There is certainly room for dusting around here. The outside evenings call me as the days get longer. I could use some sleep.

Goodbye for now. See you next year, though Season 7 will be hard to beat. And David and David (and Brooke White)......

I'll see you on my IPod.

I TOTALLY agree! I, too, am a junkie of the AI sort. I, too, love and download David Cook. I, too, voted several times. For all those haters who said this season was bad, I beg to differ. Why was I SO compelled to watch every week - twice - and actually VOTE??? I really think DC is going to have a huge career. And David Archuletta, while he's wildly talented, is the next Clay Aiken, coming soon to a Broadway show near you.
And yes, now I am free to go water my plants, too.... tee hee.

This is just plain sick. How someone could watch something on TV day after day and put all of the attention and to some extent heart and soul into it while it is on is beyond me. I'm surprised Jen.

That is all I have to say about that. And if you'll excuse me the Cubs are on soon and I just have to go and watch!
